"But if God is the Center, the Core, the driving power of each Entity, how does error occur?"

"The secret of all Error is Ignorance. And what is the reverse of ignorance? Wisdom! What is Wisdom? Wisdom is the sum total of all the Rays of Love held in perfect balance. The Rays are perpetually beating down on our spirits like the rays of the sun on our bodies, offering themselves for our acceptance.

Ignorance is emptiness of the Love Rays of Wisdom.

You can see that as the Entity, from the unicellular life upwards, struggles and strives to keep life within itself (to keep God within itself), as it uses Effort, as it harnesses the God-power without and unites it with the God-spark within, so it is, according to its own individual vibration, drawing into itself like vibrations - or Rays. So it is being built up. But you can also see that as like attracts like, according to its individuality, or the sum total of its Ray-vibrational-content up to date which constitutes its individuality - that this determines its present view-point, its present desires. According to that which it already has and is, so does it desire. We desire this or that because of what we are or want to be. A human being with a deficiency of sugar in his diet will crave for sugar. Well, as we are all deficient in so many of the God-ingredients - or Rays - so are we the sum total of the Rays that we have already made our own.

Our limitation constitutes our ignorance."

"Yes, and error?"

"Well, just as the being that was deficient in sugar showed lack of balance in his general make-up, so is all Error lack of balance, or an emptiness of one thing and too much of another. Until we are Perfection this is bound to be. Until we wipe out ignorance by finding out how to open ourselves to all Rays of Wisdom, thereby creating perfect balance within ourselves - ignorance and therefore error are the natural result."

"Does this follow in plant life too?"

"Of course. The same laws apply throughout and from beginning to end of all life. All life is one stream of life, the God-stream, taking countless million forms. The God-power animates every form, from the simplest to the most complicated. Simplicity of form simply means openness to only a pinch of the God-rays, while complexity means openness to a bowl-full of God-rays. 

If you think of it again as the loom, set up with a million threads, each thread different in color, tone, toughness, tautness, thickness, softness and so on, then you will see clearly how the diversity of plant life occurs. The daisy is a cross-section of a few of these threads; the cactus has taken still other thread with which to express the God-stream that flows through them all. A petal of a flower is so much of this Ray-vibrational tone, so much of that Ray-vibrational texture, so much of this contour, plus so much of that vibrational scent, and so on; each ingredient being an individual Ray. So when we look at a flower are we looking at God, at a fragment of God."

"And animals too of course?"

"Yes. If all life is made of one stuff, God-stuff, if all life is animated by one power, God-power, and all life is the multifarious expression of that power, then you can see that from the simplest to the most complicated form of life it is God-life developing towards a perfect expression of itself.

The God ingredients are gradually being drawn through from the God-without this place to the God-within this place as expressed through matter. It is all one fabric. Where once there was nothing live upon this earth, gradually life has been drawn through from the invisible Source, drawn through in ever increasingly complicated forms. When I say complicated I mean in the sense of multiplicity - the use of more and more of the God-rays."

"Does this not limit God to a certain number of Rays?"

"God is limitless. You must remember we are only speaking of God-life as expressed upon this one samll planet, which is perhaps as a grain of sand in the general scheme of all the universes, all supported by the Wisdom of God."

"But if error is due to ignorance or lack of God in the Core of us, are we then adding to God?"

"Yes, it sound ridiculous, doesn't it! But God is being added to all the time. We are learning how to allow God to function more and more in this plane of matter through us."

"Dare one ask why?"

"One may ask - but I cannot give you the answer! I am only a stage ahead of you and can perhaps see things a little more clearly."
