"A mind as expressed through matter on this earth needs only to desire with sincerity for the building up of that mind, and gradually the channel is opened. The little limited mind, according to the Law of Attraction, makes contact with those outer Rays of God-mind that are always waiting for acceptance.

The channel opens ... mind rushes in from the Source of all thought. The little mind is being built up according to its ability to receive. You cannot put a quart of milk into a pint pot, - so of course the little mind must wait and patiently try to expand itself, before it can receive more than its present capacity to hold."

"You said 'desire with sincerity.' Why with sincerity only?"

"When I say with sincerity, I mean with right-ness, with Truth, with correctness, with what the Bible calls righteousness. When we wish to receive from the ether music on our wireless set, we must tune in with correctness, otherwise we cannot receive. The receiving apparatus and the transmitting apparatus must be in perfect harmony before one can give and the other receive. So it is with the Laws of God."

"But what happens when we desire with 'unrighteousness'?"

"To be able to desire with unrighteousness means that something is wrong with our set. We are trying to receive the God-rays, indeed we do receive them, but because of the faulty mechanism of our set, of ourselves, reception is perverted - the set oscillates - it gives out false sounds. It gives out what we call evil."
