Who would have thought this?
I'm an Astrologer. I write daily
horoscopes. So when a fellow Astrologer and writer told me that his
advisor was a Numerologist I had to ask, "why?"
A few years back he'd planned a coming out
party for another writer and was also celebrating getting a book contract.
Several publishing VIPs and the media were attending this party.
"The night of the party I got this
phone call saying my publisher had dropped me. I was devastated. Here I
was an Astrologer, yet nothing in my horoscope could tell me what was
going on.
"So a friend put me in touch with her
numerologist. She said not to worry, that the numbers said the time was
right for the book to be picked up. Within three days I had a contract on
that book." "Astrology gives you an overview; Numerology gives
you the details."
The
holistic health field abounds with articles and books all teaching a
variety of ways to nurture our souls. What exactly does all this mean
and why is so important?
Our soul being the very essence of whom and
what we are is our life force and therefore it needs food on a regular
basis to sustain us and prevent us from becoming stagnant and
unfulfilled with life. So what is nourishing to the soul? The things
that make you feel whole, alive, and one with the universe (or God) is
your soul food.
This will vary from individual to individual, as our
souls are very unique and complex, although many of us have some
commonalities. Some common sources of soul food are nature, music,
dancing, deep relationships, meditation, walking, prayer and many
more.

To
significantly change our lives, there must be changes in our
subconscious minds and our belief systems. As these changes
occur, we find ourselves in a transition zone, a place of the
unknown, the lull, the fog, the void, the dead space. It is like
being between first and second base on unsafe and vulnerable
ground. It is uncomfortable, new and often scary. Often we get
fearful and go back to the old safe place on first base. And
that's O.K., but at some point, we may want to leave the rut
that was not working for us.
Change
requires a letting go and trust that there is a second and third
base and that I can make it there. It is about trusting myself
and God and the universal laws to unfold a new reality for me.
It is knowing that my vision, prayers, visualizations,
affirmations and wishes will come true.
You
travel when your body is in the state called sleep. The real
"you" is not your body; it is an unseen organization, your
spirit. It has senses like those of the body, but far superior. It can
see forms and hear voices miles away from the body. Your spirit is not
in your body. it never was wholly in it; it acts on it and uses it as
an instrument. It is a power which can make itself felt miles from
your body.
One-half
of our life is a blank to us; that is, the life of our spirit when it
leaves the body at night. It goes then to countries far distant, and
sees people we have never known in the flesh.
The
spirit is weak at night, because its forces have in thought been sent
in so many different directions during the day that it cannot call
them together. Every thought is one of these forces, and a part of
your spirit. Every thought, though unspoken, is something which goes
to that person, thing, or locality on which it is placed.
A
person's expectations of the future are mostly
colored by the words "health, wealth and
happiness".
And indeed, you can create health, wealth and
happiness to be part of your life not only in the
future but right here and now.
It is important to understand that where you
stand right now in your life is a product of this
same life. Let's take health as an example. It is
easy to stay healthy, simply by leading a
harmonious life. If harmony and peace of mind have
a place in your life, then this peace of mind and
harmony will find their expression also in your
body.
Where there is anger or even hatred, it is
difficult to keep the body healthy. What you call
"a healthy diet" definitely assists to
keep your body healthy, but it is not the primary
factor contributing to your health. Harmony and
peace of mind are.

spiritual wisdom and
human potential to co-create a healthy and peaceful world"

During
the ages an almost insurmountable wall of skepticism and disbelief
based on fear, ignorance and doubt has been built by humanity with
regard to the existence of angels. Sometimes it takes a mighty wave of
dynamic force to permeate the habits of thought and feeling of the
masses. The faith of the few who really know about these existence of
these other worlds, will help eliminate this skepticism and disbelief.
Our
friends from the realms of light often teach us about the world of
angels, who, along with them, form a community in the cosmic universal
state of being. They all consider themselves as servants of God and
friends and helpers of us humans.
This
is a fictional essay based on a true story about a man, a crisis, and a house filled with life's wisdoms.
"One
day I found myself on the verge of a nervous breakdown. It was not surprising.
I was drowning in work, working for newspapers, writing
several books at the same time, and still, my income became more and
more insecure
all the time. As a result, my physical well-being suffered as well. And if that
wasn't enough I also experienced a crisis in my personal life. In a word: I
thought my life was a total failure. I just wanted to be alone, like
a wounded animal that needs to heal. In this state of mind I rented a little
house at the edge of town. Here I wanted to spend the next period of my life.
Immediately
when I moved in, the house shook me up. The former tenant must have been a
weird guy: He had placed scripts everywhere, like "Look Up, Not
Down", "Keep Your Spirits High", "Cleanse Your Thoughts
Daily".... The most original one was a large hand-painted aphorism in the
hallway: "Leave Your Worries Outside".
