Breath
- The Energy of Life
The
energy needed to feed the human body is present everywhere, not only
within the food we take in. At the present time the receptive organs
to take in these energies are still underdeveloped in most of us. But
already today there are people who practice what most of us would
consider Utopia: to live without physical nourishment. This is indeed
possible.
While
this teaching does not have the purpose to convince you to renounce
food starting tomorrow, it is intended to show that within the
fullness of the divine power there is not only food, but there is energy
in the pure form, and the more we learn to take in direct
energy through our receptive organs, the more fulfilled we get on all
levels of our being, physical, mental and spiritual. It takes a lot of
practice and inner purity to reach the degree where we are able to
make full use of the divine energy it is pure form. The process is
started by practicing breathing exercises.
Deep
breathing is a true fountain of youth. Try to find some time each day
to breath deeply and feel how you take in the Divine Energy. Next,
hold this breath within your body, and feel it flow through your
blood, veins and through your whole system like the elixir of life or
the water of this fountain of youth that this energy represent.
Finally, make it your habit to release this breath back to the
Universe with a blessing. This exercise will be a constant source of
strength, comfort and well-being for you.
Once
you understand that breath is life energy, and represent the presence
of the Divine within the Human, you will be able to use it as a
protection against emotional turmoil, fatigue, anger, and the like.
You will learn to control your breath and to connect to higher planes
by exercising conscious breathing.
All
creatures on our Planet Earth use the light and the warmth of the sun
to take in energy. But the Divine sends us rays still invisible to
most of us today, which are more important than the physical sunlight.
These rays contain the true life-force, the elixir that lets them grow
and connect to their source. The earthly light is only the garment, it
is the body of the true sunlight, which is the spiritual nourishment
of all life.
These
pure spiritual light energies contain many virtues and characteristics
which we inhale through our breath, and here again it is the same as
with the physical and the more refined sunlight. The breath nourishes
the body, it transports oxygen to the lungs and the cells, but it is
the pure breath that transports the life-force. When you
breathe deeply and consciously, along with the physical elements of
oxygen you also inhale the pure elixir of life through your lungs and
thereby nourish your light body.
When
you do your breathing exercises, remember to take in not only 'air'
but all of the pure light energies with all the Divine Forces they
contain. The 'soul' of the physical breath will connect you with to
these pure Divine Forces which are the true nourishment for your inner
light.
Here
are some breathing exercises:
Breath
is life - and by breathing correctly and consciously you can improve
the state of your physical body. Your physical body is the temple of a
living God. By learning to control and consciously direct your breath,
you can increase your body vibrations. Each cell get stimulated and
cleansed from the impurities that have accumulated over time. Most
people have become heavy under their own burden and feel fatigued and
listless. These exercises will help you to improve the physical, the
emotional and the spiritual body, if you take dedicate regular time to
them.
Don't
be discouraged if result don't show immediately. After some time you
will realize that you feel lighter and more focused. You will look
happier and feel calm and relaxed, and able to cope better with daily
situation. Set aside a regular time for these exercises, which should
be practiced twice daily for best results
First
Exercise:
Use
a count of 5 for inhaling and exhaling, and a count of 3 to hold your
breath (when you gain more practice you can increase the count to 7
and 5).
Posture:
straight, feet parallel to each other, arms hanging down to the side
relaxed (shake your arms and hands for a while if you feel that they
are not relaxed, then resume the posture).
Inhale,
moving your arms forward and over your head until they form a straight
line with rest of your body. Open your palms upwards.
Now
hold your breath and visualize a white sea of light, flowing towards
you from the Divine Power.
Exhale,
moving your arms back to the side, and hold your breath again.
Repeat
this exercise 7 times.
Now
relax and affirm to yourself (aloud or silently):
"My
physical body is a wonderful garment for my Divine Being working
through my body. Each atom and each cell of my body absorbs the cosmic
light of my Divine Presence. All is in Divine order, harmony and
health. I am grateful for that."
Second
Exercise:
With
this exercise, we connect to the energy of the sun. If possible, we
face the sun while doing this exercise or visualize the sun with our
inner eye.
Use
a count of 4 for inhaling and exhaling, and holding your breath (when
you gain more practice you can increase the count to 6).
Posture
as in the previous exercise.
Inhale,
extending your arms forward with the palms open upwards. See how the
golden rays of the sun flow through you and direct your breath towards
your heart.
Then
hold your breath. Next exhale, moving your arms back to the side and
feel how the golden light fills every cell of your body. Now hold your
breath again.
Repeat
this exercise 7 times.
Relax
and affirm to yourself (aloud or silently):
"I
AM Light, I AM Light, I AM Light. I absorb the light with every cell
of my body. I am filled with light, and I am grateful for
this light.
Third Exercise:
Almost
everybody wants to feel young. We want to move harmoniously and
radiate in inner happiness and joy. With this exercise we program our
body towards this goal.
Use
a count of 4 for inhaling and exhaling, and holding your breath (when
you gain more practice you can increase the count to 6).
Posture
as in the previous exercise.
Inhaling,
move your arms upwards above your head and then stretch both your arms
and your head backwards. Holding your breath, bend forward until your
fingertips touch the floor and back again. Now exhale and move your
arms back to the side.
Relax
and affirm to yourself (aloud or silently):
"I
am filled with light that rejuvenates my body. I am filled with joy
and energy, I feel alive and active. I am young, forever young."
Repeat
this exercise 3 times.
