of animals. As well as a call to action, this is also a book of stories
about how four-legged beasts, domestic and wild, have helped people
heal from illness, cope with death, and learn to love. Randour devotes
several chapters to how the world's religions approach human
relationships
with animals, and she offers comprehensive directions on how to enter
and deepen reciprocal relationships with other species.

*** The Grand Planetary Alignment - May 5, 2000 ***
During May 3-5, 2000, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn,
the Earth and her moon and the Sun will line up behind each other.
Both from the astronomical and astrological point of view this is
one of the most powerful and transforming celestial events.
On March 4, 2000 we will experience one of the darkest nights in
history,
with Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn not being visible
to our eyes when lining up behind the Sun. The next morning, May 5,
2000,
at 8.08 a.m. GMT they will form the "Grand Alignment".
As all important celestial alignments, The Grand Planetary Alignment
represents a star gate through which we can all open up to higher
consciousness. The effects of the enormous gravitational and
magnetic
forces caused by this alignment will be felt by most of us, including
people who are not close to astrology, New Age and light-work. However,
those of us who do practice light-work, have a great chance now to
literally shift their bodies into a higher dimension on the spiritual,
mental, emotional AND physical body. This shifting happens in ALIGNMENT
with the shifting of our Planet Earth.
As always, our thought patterns will play a major role in what is going
to happen during and following the Alignment. It is therefore all the
more
recommended to meditate regularly during the next weeks prior to
the
alignment, as meditation is one of the most effective tools to quiet the
mind and eliminate all thought forms of anxiety, fear and negativity.
Each and everyone of us can make a difference. If we cultivate the

*** My Child's Soul ***
*** A story on past lives, spirit guides and intuition ***
If you have followed our Newsletters since January 2000, you will
remember that we introduced you to past lives, angels & spirit
guides, and intuition. The following story combines all of them.
Lea was tired. She had a long flight half around the world, which
ended in a bus trip in an old bus that looked as if it would fall
apart in a second. Her whole body hurt from the strains of the
journey. Half dreaming, she barely noticed the beautiful wild
landscapes...
The bus stopped. Startled, Lea woke up. "Are we finally
there",
she asked herself. No, it was only a gas station. The driver got
out of the bus. She heard him cursing and yelling at the station
attendant. Not knowing the language, Lea followed the gestures,
trying to imagine what they were talking about. It could be many
things. What would a bus driver in her home country say? She
couldn't come up with anything. Home was so far away. It seemed
that along with the geographical distance there was also a mental
distance.
She pushed her thoughts aside and looked out the window. Her eyes
hurt from the bright light. The road seemed to be glowing from the
heat . On the other side of the road there was an old road sign,
with the letters on it barely visible. The sunlight that fell on
the sign dazzled her, but something forced her to look back. A
haggard man was sitting at the bottom the sign. He was sitting on
a bundle, probably all his belongings. The people in this country
didn't own very much. Still, carrying a lot of stuff in her suitcase,
she envied the man for a moment. She would have loved to be in his
place, it looked so much easier to travel the way he did.
Intrigued, she watched the man, even though she could not see very
much. He had beautiful black hair with a shimmer of blue. His head
was bent down and she could not see his face. The bus door opened
and the driver came back in. "We continue our drive, and I haven't
even seen his face", she thought to herself.
The heavy vehicle started moving, and Lea turned around and looked
back. The man had lifted his head and was looking at her. Their eyes
met, and for a moment she could see his soul. She did not understand
what she was seeing, she only knew that she had seen these eyes
somewhere before. She had seen this man before. But when? And where?
Never before had she been to this country. In her home
country?
This man was too poor to travel.
How much time is left until she loses his eyes? One
Second...
more.... less... Lea tried to remember the man. All of a sudden she
realizes that it is not the man she knows, it is the soul. No
doubt!
It the cry of a soul in a moment of an awful loss. These eyes make you
realize all the pain and feeling of being lost of a child's soul.
A child's soul? Lea shivered. Now she remembers: She is looking
into
the eyes of a hurt child. Her child! How could she ever forget.
She had found her son!
She wants to cry out loud: "Stop the bus, I have to go to my son,
I have lost him once before, back then...." But her mouth
remains shut. She does not have a son.
Something inside her tells her to think, to look into his eyes
again: It is her son. Another second or two, the bus slowly starts
to move. "Look, look and remember." Slowly the memory comes
back:
He was still young, so very young, back then when she had to leave.
A second child had traded his life against hers. Her first born son
was next to her. He did not cry. He was just looking at her, silently
pleading her to stay. In the moment of her death she had sworn to
herself
not to leave him alone, but to come back. How long ago was that?
How many lives had she lived in between, suffering, looking for
her child's soul?
The bus started leaving the gas station towards the road. A voice inside
Lea shouted "This is your last chance, get of the bus and stay with
him",
"How can I?", she answers the voice "This time is not
death that is
separating us, it is life itself!" The man with her child's soul,
she has lost him again. Empty and exhausted she lies back in her seat,
wanting to cry and to scream. Then, it becomes clear to her: She has
kept her promise! She understands just like he does:
In this life, they have found each other.

***Let's Be Inspired - Our Weekly Inspiration***
If I am concealed by the existence of the world,
Then who is that blossoms in the form of the world?
Can a red jewel be considered by its own luster?
Does a chip of gold lose its goldness if turned into an ornament?
When a seed of grain is sown and grows into an ear of corn,
is it destroyed or does it appear in its enhanced glory?
So there is not need to draw away the curtain of the
world in order to see me,
since I am the whole panorama.
Therefore, giving up the conception of difference,
a person should know Me alongside himself.
He should not regard himself as different from Me,
as a speck of gold is not different from the whole block of gold.
He should understand how a ray of light,
though proceeding from an origin,
is continuous with it.
Like molecules on the surface of earth,
or flakes of snow on the Himalaya,
all individual souls dwell in Me.
A ripple, small or great, is not different from water.
So he should know himself as not different form Me.
Such insight is called Devotion.
