Happiness is the free expression of the God-within.

God is Love, Love is Giving, Giving is Service.

Happiness exists in Service. Service to others is the free expression of the God within us.

God is the Great Lamp, the Source of all Light, the Source of all Giving, the Source and Giver of all Service. The Spirit Core of each one of us is an infinitesimal replica of God, being made of God substance. The God within us is us. It is our life. Therefore we are only happy when we are allowing the God within us full rein, the full expression of His loving Self; when we are so to speak, swimming with the God-stream instead of battling against its current.

The tide of God is creative.

The God within us is creative.

We are happy when we are creating

We are happy when we are tuning in with that Beauty of Balance and Wisdom that we can appreciate at our stage of development. It may be the beauty of nature, of flowers, of human form, of artistic creations, of prose and poetry - or of contemplations of the Mind of God. In each case it is the degree of our development that is the key to the tuning in.

A child is happy in the contemplation of a read ball; a youth is happy in the contemplation of a sentimental picture; a mystic is happy in the contemplation up to which his mind will reach towards the Mind of God.

In each case the happiness felt is due to an intensifying of vibration induced the sympathetic tuning-in with Truth ... with that which holds within itself a Balance of Wisdom and therefore Beauty.

The happiness known is the happiness felt by a flower when the sun comes from behind heavy clouds, or by a dog that is fondled by its master. The dog feels and responds to the beam of warmth and light that you play upon it. The musician listening to a Beethoven symphony is in the same position as the dog. Happiness, or an intensification of vibration is felt by him as he allows the finer vibrational Rays of the musical thought of the composer play upon him.

Happiness is to be found in the intensification of vibration engendered by the creative sex impulse, and by the expanding of the God-power within, in athletic sports and creative physical activities.

Happiness is to be experienced in the intensification of vibration engendered by the harmonizing of two individual yet sympathetic vibrations which together make a perfect whole.
