In the twilight before the dawn of civilization, the connection between humanity and Nature was still strong. Hunter-gatherers seeking food and self protection in the wilds, lived the wisdom of Nature because they never left its influence. Mind and body were coordinated in concert as a matter of alert, focused attention. The mental and physical realms knew no divisions or distinctions, nor could any be afforded. Without inner coordination a lack of personal unity meant certain death, which is a condition of the efficiency everywhere in Nature. Life to our ancient ancestors depended on the personal power to survive, as a mind/body strength that left no room for waste or unnatural focus. Also without division was the self and the environment, and these two worked in close cooperation. Feeling and Awareness were then the primary guides to right action as a lifestyle, one which proved to be extremely effective.

Columns: Weekly Horoscope for the Week of July 5th-July 11th, 2004
|
by Deborah Browning & AstrologySource.Com
Your weekly horoscope forecast is provided by Deborah Browning, residence astrologer at AstrologySource.com.
"Astrology is one of the intuitive methods like the I Ching, geomantics, and other divinatory procedures. It is based upon the synchronicity principle, i.e. meaningful coincidence. ... Astrology is a naively projected psychology in which the different attitudes and temperaments of man are represented as gods and identified with planets and zodiacal constellations."

How to Complete Relationships Consciously
|
The Ten Essential Skills for Cocreating Conscious Completion
by Paul and Layne Cutright
Completing relationships is often one of the most painful experiences of life. Because of this, people tend to avoid dealing with completion altogether. There are four ways we have observed that relationships can be completed; death, drifting apart, abrupt expulsion or ejection from the relationship and conscious completion. Sometimes completion is only about changing the form of the relationship and recreating it, not necessarily the end of the relationship altogether. A good example of this is when parents divorce; they are still responsible for co-parenting. Consequently they are remaining in relationship, albeit a different form than marriage and romance.

Silence is the great teacher, and to learn its lessons you must pay attention to it. There is no substitute for the creative inspiration, knowledge, and stability that come from knowing how to contact your core of inner silence. The great Sufi poet Rumi wrote, "Only let the moving waters calm down, and the sun and moon will be reflected on the surface of your being" ~ Deepak Chopra.
In a previous article, titled "The Power of Listening," I explained some of the main advantages of mastering the power of silence. True, silence can only be heard when you listen. Silence is the single phenomenon that has the seemingly contradictive ability to express everything by expressing nothing. "Well-timed silence is the most commanding expression" ~ Mark Helprin ~

The Quickest Road To Success
|
by Jason Michael Gracia
Much has been said about the trouble of a negative attitude and the power of a positive outlook. It has always been one against the other, with optimism always winning out in the end. But there is a third way, and in my opinion, it is the most powerful and beneficial of all outlooks. What is it?
Reality.
Whether we like it or not, the world is neither good or bad, positive or negative. The world simply is. It favors no side, and throws bad luck toward no predetermined party. It is a mirror, giving back to us what we give to it. To understand this single idea is to gain the most empowering mind set possible. The world is yours for the taking.

The New Age Movement (NAM) is a revival of spiritual and divine values and can be called as a Divine Regeneration Movement. New Age Philosophy has conquered the West intellectually and Western culture is currently experiencing a phenomenal shift - sociological, spiritual & ideological. It's a secular, multi-cultural, multi-religious synthesis, of the Oriental mystical philosophies, mainly Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism & Western Occultism, emphasising Holism, the doctrine that Reality is organically One ( now taught in American Universities after Einstein's Theory of Relativity ).
Behind the evolution of the species, there is an evolution of Consciousness. The aim of Life is Self-Actualisation, to evolve to the level of Unity Consciousness, defined as the 7th state of Consciousness in Transcendental Philosophy.

I was at the Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia. I had just been told that I had a "blockage" in my spinal cord, from the fourth to the seventh cervical vertebrae at the level of the neck, that had been responsible for the symptoms I had been experiencing. My right arm was paralyzed, my legs were spastic, and there were sensations like electric shocks running through my body when I moved my head.
I was told that I had to have an operation immediately, and that if I lived through the operation, I might come out of it a quadriplegic. When I asked if I had time for a second opinion, I was told that if I coughed or sneezed at that time, I might die. Naturally, I agreed to have the operation in a few hours.

Many years ago, my children were raised on the various teachings and concepts of ?¢â?¬??magic?¢â?¬? as I was studying different religions and spiritual beliefs. I had come across many metaphysical teachings woven throughout most of the different religions. It was very important to me that they stay authentic and real. I didn?¢â?¬â?¢t want them to ever allow anyone to convince them to be something other than the beautiful souls they already were. They took to the metaphysical teachings quite easily and naturally. Often they already knew whatever it was I had thought I was going to teach them.
My four-year-old son asked me one morning, ?¢â?¬??Where did I live before I got into your tummy to be born.?¢â?¬? He naturally assumed that he?¢â?¬â?¢d always existed despite his lack of memory about life before being born.

The Energetic Patterns of Dis-ease
|
by Dr. Rita Louise, PH.D.
Disease, when looked at intuitively, takes on very specific shapes and sizes in the muscles, glands and organs of the physical and energetic body. Although diseases can be classified as being similar, or under the same "umbrella", they carry very distinct energetic patterns that are instantly discernible to a keen observer.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS), for example has been medically diagnosed as a neurological disorder. Energetically, it appears as if electrical wires (the nerves) have been cut and are flailing around like fire hoses with no one at the control. These energy patterns appear where the person is manifesting the disease in their body. For example, if they are having problems with their vision and speech, the nerves would appear cut in the head and neck area. If they are having problems walking, the nerves will appear to be cut in the legs.

Need Help Making A Decision?
|
by Wendy Kay
Are you having difficulty making a decision? If you are, here are a couple of methods that were given to me by my Spirit Guides that might make your task a little easier.
One of the reasons we have difficulty making a decision is because we often do what other people want us to do and not what WE truly want to do. When making a decision, try to take out all the factors that influence your decision and then you should see more clearly what you want to do.
This means that you need to sit down when no one is going to bother you and pretend that whatever decision you have to make will be perfectly okay with everyone else in the world.
