The human heart was created by God to love and to feel emotion deeply, and much of the creative inspiration that we feel comes from the spiritual connection between our embodied human self and your eternal soul or larger self. This great sensitivity has also been the cause of much challenge as human beings have struggled to understand ourselves and our loved ones. The present time period is particularly challenging because our consciousness and ways of feeling, and sensing are changing as greater spiritual light expands on the Earth.

In today's world, the incidence of panic and anxiety disorders is on the increase. It is no wonder with the large challenges facing humanity as a whole, and in our individual lives, that more and more people are feeling anxious and afraid, or even panic.

Your physical body is a sacred vehicle of light, which was created by God and joined with physical matter in order to accomplish a holy purpose that your soul chose before incarnating. It may seem as though your daily life is mundane and has little in the way of divine soul purpose, but one day this veil over your perception will lift, and you will see and feel deeply the full splendor of your soul's radiance and beauty as a child of God.

When this realization comes of your divine nature, you may also begin to feel shame and remorse as you look back upon previous times where you acted out of harmony with God's love.

Bringing healing to family relationships can be one of the most difficult aspects of the spiritual healing process. The reason for this is that we choose to incarnate within our specific families for the purpose of healing and growth, which often challenges us deeply to the core of our being. For many of us it may feel as though healing is exactly the opposite of what we are receiving with our families, as we endure the difficulties and limitations of our relationships with our parents and siblings.

Before incarnating, we choose families which can bring to the surface specific issues and themes that our soul wishes to explore, learn about and heal. Often these issues are challenging and bring to the surface discomfort that we would prefer go avoid rather than face.

This new time in the history of planet Earth is creating a transformation of spiritual consciousness that is a quantum evolutionary leap for all of humanity. In times past, spiritual pursuits, spiritual awareness and spiritual growth we largely separate from the pursuits of ordinary life. In more recent times, spiritual growth has been seen as a path to bring greater healing, and greater ease in one's physical life. These views of spirituality were partial, related to steps in a process that humanity's consciousness has been involved with, and now a new and expanded view of spirituality is emerging.

Initially, human souls existed as the Oneness of spirit, and as the process of physical incarnation developed, souls descended more and more completely into the experience of physically manifest reality, which at that time required a separation from the world of spirit. This separation was necessary for a time, so that souls could experience the fullness of individuality and the complete immersion in physical manifestation.

This is a time of monumental transition for our world, and each of our lives is being affected by the larger planetary transformations that are happening. Many of us who are on a spiritual path and living a spiritual life feel dismayed by the great intensity that is manifesting in our lives, our relationships, and even our physical bodies. Our faith in God is tested, as we proceed through this time with little outer confirmation of what we are feeling in our hearts, and apparently little support around us for living a spiritual life, or for sharing the work we are called to offer to the world.

There are larger planetary forces at work right now which are creating a difficult atmosphere in which to navigate. God's light is growing stronger as a tangible physical presence on the Earth, which is creating massive change both to the Earth herself and to all those who live upon her. In response to this growing light, there is a heightened activity of negative energies which attempt to slow or halt the expansion of light.

For those who are walking the spiritual path, opening our hearts to God, seeking greater love, light and connection with the divine source within, these energies may create additional challenges by obscuring our experience of the light. The experience is similar to standing outside on a cloudy day. One minute you can see and feel the warmth of the sun, and the next minute, the sun is gone, the sky is gray and there is no more warmth. The sun remains, but is simply obscured. Our faith is tested, because we can no longer feel the spiritual nourishment that was sustaining us.

This phenomenon is difficult enough, but there is a much larger process happening, related to the purification process of the Earth. The increased activity of divine light is accelerating the vibrational frequency of physical matter, which is raising it to a new level of connection with the spiritual reality. The light creates a cleansing action that begins to separate out negative and lower vibrating energies, which rise to the surface and brought into consciousness for healing. This process of purification is happening on both an individual and a global level, both for the Earth and for all embodied souls.

When the process of purification is activated, the emotions, thoughts, memories and traumas of the past begin to rise into consciousness in order to be healed.

Today's world is reaching a crisis point, and while many of our social structures are still intact for this moment, there will come a time when major changes will need to occur in the way we are living our lives on a day to day basis. This bold statement is shared not to create alarm and fear, but rather to awaken a sense of responsibility within all of us. This awakening has already begun, and most people are now aware that our current way of life is causing harm to the precious Earth we live on. The question now for many of us is ... what can I do?

Our lives are already chock full of challenges. Just managing the day to day realities of life is for many of us a full time job.

At this time of intense planetary change, many of us are being challenged and are finding ourselves enduring hardships of one kind or another. Whether it be a health challenge, financial concerns, loss of a loved one, or life difficulties that endure for a very long time without changing, all these hardships bring with them pain, suffering, sadness, anger, grief or even despair. When we don't know how to get through a situation that feels overwhelming, our heart cries out for help. We turn to prayer and our spiritual practices to find comfort and meaning, and yet sometimes it is so difficult to really feel ourselves held in God’s loving embrace.

Dearest ones, when we are suffering it can feel as though we are all alone in our pain. In fact, this is the nature of much of our suffering, because we are not yet able to feel God’s love with us and holding us in our lives.

Your heart sings a unique melody in the world, one that was conceived of and created by the divine and holy presence of God. Your very essence is divine, and yet as you walk upon the spiritual path to enter more fully into a direct knowing and experience of God's love, you may become aware of all the parts of yourself that do not trust God.

It may seem strange to experience one part of you that feels longing, devotion, and love for God, and another part of you that is terrified to let go and place your life more fully in God's hands.

Today's world is changing at the most accelerated rates ever, and our bodies, minds, emotions and spirits are all being affected by these larger changes. Have you noticed recently that you're experiencing more intense emotions? Many people are feeling a heightened sense of emotional intensity, so we are seeing more incidents of disruptive outbursts and behaviors, and also more positive emotions related to expanding love, that are inspiring people to take more risks within their interpersonal relationships, and in relation to important life choices.

The human heart is growing larger on a spiritual level, expanding beyond its perceived small boundaries of focus on the self.
