After graduating from college, Hu spent eight years teaching the emotionally handicapped in inner city schools. His desire to become a Self-actualization trainer was germinated in 1970 when he attended a very powerful transformational course that altered his then "old world" view of reality. The course stimulated him to begin researching the unique relationship between the mind, body and spirit. In 1977, Hu founded a Self-actualization training company called The L.I.F.E. Training as an avocation. Then, in 1995, Hu started accepting students who wanted to learn about the Self-mastery techniques that he developed during his 25 years as a and that’s when his school (Holistic learning Center) was created.

Hu has written several books, training manuals and audiocassette albums including: Self-Mastery…A Journey Home To Your Self! Textbook and Audiocassette Album; Spiritual Counselor's Course & Training Manual; Spiritual Counselor’s Audiocassette Album; Life Coaches Certification Course; Self-parenting Coaches Course; Weight Mastery Course; Money Mastery Course; Relationships Mastery Course.

Money Mastery 101 - Eleven Principles of Money Mastery
Published at eSpiritCenter-Motivation & Self-Help on October 14, 2004
ONE:
There is much to be gained by breaking the money taboo and exploring your beliefs about money. What you think you need and what you truly need are often very different things. You'll never find what you need in material things. The only thing you'll find in the material world is a need for more material things.
TWO:
Most people have been conditioned to associate making money with struggle and pain, and thus they have come to believe that they can only earn money by doing things that they don't want to do.
Are You A Spiritual Sampler?
Published at eSpiritCenter-Soul Mates & Spiritual Relationships on  September 24, 2004
Many spiritual seekers have sampled a rich array of spiritual practices on their... journey home to their Self. The world does not make the journey home to your Self an easy one. It's not easy to find your Self in a society that does its best to make you believe that you are a body; where power and materialism are valued above kindness and sensitivity; where technology has evolved faster than our spiritual consciousness, and where during the Christmas holidays the marketing of toys has made Santa Claus more popular than Jesus. In the Kabala, the ancient Jewish holy book, there is a passage that explains that when a spiritual seeker is truly ready to awaken, she must "dig one deep well" until she finds the cool, clean water of the real SELF. She must choose one path and follow it until she rediscovers her own unique inner Self.
Boundaries - A Relationship Technique We All Need
Published at eSpiritCenter-Soul Mates & Spiritual Relationships on September 16, 2004
Relationship mastery requires that you learn how to maturely protect your boundaries. Mature boundaries are an important ingredient of Self-mastery. If you never learned how to maturely protect your boundaries, you'll be forced to use childlike ego defenses. The most important ability in the development of healthy boundaries is to master how to communicate your feelings. A boundary is a limit that promotes integrity. Healthy boundaries come from your conscious awareness of the distinction between you and the people with whom you share your life.
Can You Name The Five Steps To Realizing Your Divine Potential?
Published at eSpiritCenter-General Spirituality on September 9, 2004
Dr. Thurman Fleet wrote that, "It is written that 'As a man soweth, so shall he also reap.' When you are sufficiently well-versed in the "Secret Laws of Life," you can by rigid discipline and under law, enter into and understand what Jesus referred to when he said "The Kingdom of God is within you." To understand how "As a man soweth..." you need to study, practice and emotionalize how the Laws of Life and Meta-physics naturally unfold as a Five Step Process.
Can You Speak The Language of Your Intuitive Heart?
Published at eSpiritCenter-Inspiration on September 2, 2004
The LANGUAGE OF FEELINGS is the language of your intuitive Self! Your heart feels the intuitive messages that are sent to you by spirit. Your uncomfortable feelings are messages that you are out of harmony with your Self. When you resist, repress, or deny your feelings, you disconnect yourself from your Self. Since the average emotional age of the adults in the US is only fourteen, and since most fourteen year olds have not mastered how to communicate their feelings, most of us have modeled caretakers who never learned how to maturely communicate how they feel. The LANGUAGE OF FEELINGS is Yin energy.
Face It - Affirmations 'Alone' Don't Work
Published at eSpiritCenter-Hypnosis, NLP & Mind Power on August 24, 2004
I first learned about the power of affirmations and visualization techniques over 20 years ago. The affirmation process is based on the following concept: thoughts create feelings, feelings create actions, actions create habits, habits create beliefs, belief systems create human identities, and your human identities create your reality. I embraced this concept and spent a great deal of time, effort, and money studying everything I could on this subject in an attempt to create the reality I wanted. The majority of the self-improvement courses, books, and tapes taught me various methods of how to visualize and affirm what I wanted to create.
Four Facts You Need To Know To Attract Your Spiritual Soul Mate
Published at eSpiritCenter-Soul Mates & Spiritual Relationships on  August 21, 2004
I'm often asked these questions, "Is there such a thing as a spiritual soul mate?" "Are there such things as soul mates?" "Do I have a soul mate?" " What can I do to attract my spiritual soul mate?" These questions usually stems from our universal desire for love and intimacy. I believe that as we move deeper into the Age of Aquarius, we are awakening our need for emotional intimacy. In so doing, we are seeking ways to attract relationships that will support the evolution of our immortal souls! As a society we are beginning to let go of our old fear-based, "survival-of-the-fittest" mentality, and awakening our love-based, intuitive, spiritual powers.
If You Can't Define What A Spiritual Relationship Is ... You Can't Have One
Published at eSpiritCenter-Soul Mates & Spiritual Relationships on  August 17, 2004
A spiritual relationship is formed when two (or more) people come together, as equals, for the purpose of spiritual growth. Within a Spiritual Relationship, both parties agree that nothing is more important than their spiritual evolution. Spiritual relationships create a synergy, which enables each partner to spiritually evolve faster than they could alone. This divine energy is what I believe Jesus was referring to when he said, "Where two or more are gathered in my name!"
One of the best ways for you to support your spiritual growth is to be in a relationship with someone who wants to create a "partnership" that is emotionally intimate and spiritually conscious
Save The...Humans!
Published at eSpiritCenter-Global Awareness on August 12, 2004
IN ENVIRONMENTAL PREDICTION: Carl Sagan, in his famous Public Television Series "The Cosmos," gave our species a slim chance of surviving the next 100 years. His grim prediction is supported by many of the prominent scientific minds of our time. WHY? Their fears are founded upon thirteen global challenges: (1) over-population; (2) water and air pollution; (3) a third-world country or terrorists starting a nuclear or biological war; (4) erosion of the ozone layer; (5) deforestation of our rain forests; (6) erosion of farmland top soil; (7) over 90,000 tons (and climbing) of high-level toxic nuclear waste that we don't know what to do with; (8) new strands of viruses; (9) bacterium that are resistant to antibiotics; (10) ecologically created sterilization; (11) the melting of our solar ice caps; (12) a collision with an asteroid; and (13) several super volcanoes erupting at the same time. These grim facts should be enough to stimulate one to ask, "What can I do to help?"
Do You Want To Succeed? Keep Your Eye On Your...Spiritual Benefits!
Published at eSpiritCenter-General Spirituality on August , 2004
Do you work for benefits or because you love to labor? Do you work because you love to work or do you work for money, vacations, retirement and health insurances? Obviously for the BENEFITS, so keep your eye on your spiritual benefits as well, and you'll find achieving whatever you heart desires to be a lot easier process. If your Spiritual Plan were a rocket ship, the Self-mastery Disciplinas would be the FUEL that you would need for your... journey home to your Self. Disciplina is a Latin word that means to learn or teach. Disciplina is the root word from which our word "discipline" is derived.
What Do All Consciously Awakened Spiritual Relationships Need?
Published at eSpiritCenter-Soul Mates & Spiritual Relationships on August 3, 2004
One of the best ways for you to support your spiritual growth is to be in a relationship with someone who wants to create a "partnership" that uses RESPONSIBILITY COMMUNICATION. Spiritual relationships accelerate your Self-mastery growth process because they create a space where it is safe to feel what you are feeling. No matter how long you've been on a spiritual path, sooner or later you must "get off your knees" and apply what you have learned. RESPONSIBILITY COMMUNICATION is a communication technique for people who seek to build a consciously awakened, spiritual relationship.
Absolutely Nothing But The ... Spiritual Truth
Published at eSpiritCenter-General Spirituality on July 31, 2004
The truth... and nothing but the truth needs to be told because so many of us were raised by people who were ignorant of the Laws of Life. As a result, we were programmed to believe that pain, poverty, and loss are a way of life. You need to learn these SPIRITUAL TRUTHS because without this knowledge, spiritual transcendence of the Self-limiting beliefs that predominate our culture is almost impossible. BEWARE! These SPIRITUAL TRUTHS have a tendency to scare people because they collide with our "fixed" programming which, for most of us, is fear-based and Self-defeating.
The Most Important Holistic Discovery In 75 Years
Published at eSpiritCenter-General Spirituality  on July 31, 2004
DIS-CREATION is the most important discovery in the last 75! It's the "missing step" of the conscious creation process. When you add Dis-Creation to your Conscious Creation Process, you'll be clearing away your mental roadblocks and emotional baggage (resistance) that are short-circuiting your divine ability to be a conscious creator. The conscious creation process NEEDS both a positive and negative charges of energy to exist. Life is composed of positive and negative charges of energy, from the smallest subatomic particle to our immense sun. Depending on the context, humanity has a variety of terms to describe these contrasts of polar opposites
What's Your Spiritual Purpose For Living?
Published at eSpiritCenter-General Spirituality on July 29, 2004
DHARMA is an Sanskrit word that means... your unique spiritual purpose for living. Everyone has a purpose in life...a unique talent, skill, or ability. Deepak Chopra states the following about dharma, "When you blend your unique talent with service to others, you experience the ecstasy and exultation of your own spirit, which is the ultimate goal of all goals!" The LAW of DHARMA is rooted in the same principles that Nature uses to create everything that you can see. LAW IS...THE WAY LIFE IS! Law is the process by which the un-manifest becomes manifest.
Who's the Boss ... Your Spirit or Your Mind?
Published at eSpiritCenter-General Spirituality on July 26, 2004
The human school has a beautiful system of balance created between the SELF and the EGO MIND. Your ego mind is your instrument of separateness. Your Self is your vehicle of unity. This transformational paradox creates a very profound polarity between your ego mind and your Self. It manifests as a creative tension in which the ego tries to preserve your separateness, while the Self tries to merge into the unity of all things. Your ego mind isn't good or bad, right or wrong. It is just the software that your Self uses to create the human identities that enable you to function on the earth plane.
Why Aren't There More Prosperous Spiritual People?
Published at eSpiritCenter-General Spirituality on July 26, 2004
There is a wonderful prosperity parable that goes...There was a man who appeared to be ragged and financially destitute. He came upon a road boss and he said, "I need work." The road boss said, "Go over there and roll that big stone up and down the hill, and that will fulfill your need." The ragged man responded, "You don't understand. What I really need is money." "The road boss said, "You didn't say that. If it is only money you need, here is $50, but you can't spend it." Again, the man was confused. "What I truly need is food, fuel and clothing, not just money." The boss responded, "Again you didn't say that. If you truly need these things, take the money and spend it on food, fuel and clothing, but don't eat the food, nor burn the fuel, nor wear the clothing..."
